Help: Starting Of Pet Shop

Hi,

Can someone provide me with the estimate cost of starting a pet shop in Singapore? And for a normal pet shop, normally what is the revenue? Or is there any webby/forums to recommend for me to take a look? Is there anything that i should take note of? Anyone with experiences of opening pet shop do share some experiences with me. Thanks

it depend on what you want to do, if you can do grooming yourself, probably abt 5k will do,and a simple one. but if you want to sell pets food and live stock, hmmm.... that hard to said.

1st- reg a company with acra (less than $50)
2nd- find a shop (depending on your budget)
3rd- find grooming table,blower.etc (less than $1000)
4th- pets food (depending on stock)
5th-not forgetting about renovation and rack.

most important is your customer base.

u gotta source out yourself for pets supplier. accessories is better for you to get from oversea at better price.. where you intend to open your shop? are you a groomer?

Hi if u going to start a pet shop is better that u take over one. they will have stocks, equipment, customer base etc.If u r only doing grooming u don't have to look for big place

Either look out for areas that are new and open there; open in a cluster of existing shops and compete with them; open next to a vet; open next to a newly opened shop.

And what do you intend to do in your shop? Sell pets? Grooming? Accessories? All these matter when it comes to deciding a new set up.
