Usually i know most auntie uncles go jewellery stores buy gold and silver. Now I learned that bullion shops in Singapore offers gold and silver coins much more cheaply as they do not have to earn so high margin.
if you buy pure gold and pure silver, there is no GST levied!
for those gift coins, there are GST, but the lady owners have absorbed for me, hope she gives discount to all singaporeans.
