Adoption and/or Temporary Housing

Hi There,

Three days ago a cat had given birth to a litter of 5 kittens. Unfortunately one of them did not make it as he born out while in the birthing sac and died shortly after. The mummy cat was holding him so tightly and didn't wanna let go. It took much effort to remove him from her embrace.

She was seen earlier in the day by neighbors and they mentioned some kids were playing with her, they were throwing her about and they injured her tummy. She had meowed loudly at the door of another neighbor but they refused to let her in, she eventually gave birth outside near the rubbish chute of a lift landing on the 7th floor of a HDB. There is minimal shelter and the area is so dirty and not ideal for her to be nursing her kittens and for her to recuperate.

When i went to see her she was doing a little bit better but still shaken up, all the cat lovers in my neighborhood feel so sad, however all of us have plenty of cats already living at home and are not able to house her for fear that she might be traumatize. One neighbor has 9 cats, the other has 15, one has 6 and one has 5.

I would like to appeal to anyone who would be kind enough to adopt her and her babies, or at least to provide a warm home for her and her babies for 2 months or so, so that she may recuperate and her babies can grow a little bigger and then will be able to be adopted individually.

Please response to this thread if you or if you know anyone that would be willing to provide some support for this poor sweet cat and her babies.
